The services we commission include, but are not limited to, acute and emergency care, community services, rehabilitation, children’s and maternity services and mental health. We buy these services from a range of provider organisations from within the NHS, independent sector and voluntary sector. Our main providers are:





Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust provide a range of medical services to approximately 420,000 people living across southwest London and northeast Surrey. The Trust employs approximately 4,260 staff across its hospitals and is supported by over 450 volunteers. We commission them to provide acute care to our shared population.





Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust provides emergency and non-emergency services to the residents of East Surrey, north-east West Sussex, and South Croydon, including the major towns of Crawley, Horsham, Reigate and Redhill. We commission them to provide acute and complex services at East Surrey Hospital in Redhill.





Kingston Hospital NHS Trust provides a full range of diagnostic and treatment services to approximately 320,000 people locally. They are proud of their reputation as the largest single site District General Hospital in London and their Maternity Unit is the second biggest in London. We commission them to provide acute hospital services to our shared population.





St George's Healthcare NHS Trust is the largest healthcare provider in southwest London. We commission them to provide acute care from their main site, St George’s Hospital in Tooting.






Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is a provider of health and social care services for people of all ages with mental health problems and learning disabilities in Surrey and North East Hampshire and drug and alcohol problems in Surrey and Hounslow. They employ 2,300 staff across 56 sites, serving a population of 1.3 million. We commission them to provide mental health and learning disability services to our shared population.




South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust respond to 999 calls from the public and urgent calls from healthcare professionals. They cover a geographical area of 3,600 square miles (Brighton & Hove, East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, Surrey, and North East Hampshire). We commission them to provide urgent ambulance services and patient transport to our shared population. They also hold the contract - in partnership with Harmoni - to provide the NHS 111 service across Kent, Surrey and Sussex.







CSH Surrey has been providing therapy and community nursing services to the 290,000 strong population of mid Surrey since 2006. As a social enterprise, any surplus is reinvested back into the business to improve services and used to benefit its local communities. CSH Surrey is our main provider of community services, covering the same area as Surrey Downs CCG.
